Terms of Use

Last updated 24 September 2026

The operator

worksandpiper.com is operated by WorkSandpiper of Benalla, Victoria, Australia (email careers@worksandpiper.com). By using worksandpiper.com or applying through it, you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use worksandpiper.com.

Definitions

"WorkSandpiper", "we" and "us" mean the operator. In these terms, "you" is anyone who visits or uses worksandpiper.com. "Website" means worksandpiper.com. An "employer" is a business offering a role, and a "listing" is the description of that role on worksandpiper.com.

Is WorkSandpiper my employer?

WorkSandpiper is a recruitment advertising and introduction service, not an employer. For any role on WorkSandpiper, the employer decides hiring, contracts, supervision, how the work is organised and pay. An application to WorkSandpiper is not a job offer and does not make you an employee of WorkSandpiper.

Listings

Each listing on worksandpiper.com describes duties, working arrangements, engagement type, eligibility and conditions; read it all before applying. Roles may close or change, and WorkSandpiper updates or removes listings once told. Report mistakes to careers@worksandpiper.com, mentioning the role.

What do I need to do to apply with WorkSandpiper?

Please give WorkSandpiper correct details, and never submit an application for somebody else without their clear agreement. You must satisfy the role's eligibility and Australian right-to-work conditions before WorkSandpiper can introduce you. Complete the form, then send WorkSandpiper HR the WhatsApp message, which only goes once you press Send. If you cannot use WhatsApp, email careers@worksandpiper.com. Before offering anything, the employer behind a WorkSandpiper listing may ask further questions or arrange an interview.

Do I have to pay WorkSandpiper anything?

WorkSandpiper does not charge applicants at any point: there is no application, placement, admin or training charge and no deposit. WorkSandpiper is paid by the businesses that advertise. Nobody from WorkSandpiper will ask you to purchase crypto, add credit to an account, pay to access work or send money to receive wages. Please report any such request involving a WorkSandpiper role to careers@worksandpiper.com.

Pay and conditions

Pay for a WorkSandpiper role is set by its employer and depends on that role's conditions. Any range mentioned by WorkSandpiper is a guide, not a guarantee of the upper end. WorkSandpiper suggests asking the employer for written confirmation of its legal name, what you will do, how you are engaged, how pay is worked out, the likely hours and the payment dates, all before you accept. WorkSandpiper does not guarantee work, a minimum workload or income.

Who is responsible for what WorkSandpiper says?

WorkSandpiper stands behind its own website content and ads, while employers answer for the information they give WorkSandpiper and their obligations as employers. Where an ad and worksandpiper.com conflict on a material point, WorkSandpiper investigates and fixes the incorrect one. A broad disclaimer on the WorkSandpiper site never cancels a specific statement or your rights under law.

Personal information

The WorkSandpiper Privacy Policy explains how applications are handled. Anything WhatsApp or an employer keeps falls under their own policies rather than WorkSandpiper's.

What am I not allowed to do on worksandpiper.com?

Do not pretend to be someone else, send fake applications, use other people's details without consent, upload harmful content or disrupt the operation of worksandpiper.com.

Website content

You may view and save WorkSandpiper pages for your own job search. For anything else, ask the rights holder before reusing WorkSandpiper content. Photos on worksandpiper.com are licensed stock images and do not show real applicants or employers.

How do WhatsApp and email fit in with WorkSandpiper?

Links and buttons on worksandpiper.com open third-party apps such as WhatsApp and email, which WorkSandpiper does not control.

Will worksandpiper.com always be available?

WorkSandpiper does not promise uninterrupted access to worksandpiper.com or that a listing will remain open during your application, and may alter or suspend the site without warning.

Do the WorkSandpiper terms affect my consumer rights?

Your rights, guarantees and remedies under the Australian Consumer Law, and other laws that cannot be contracted out of, stay in place whatever these WorkSandpiper terms say.

Liability

Subject to those rights, WorkSandpiper is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of worksandpiper.com. None of this limits WorkSandpiper's liability for fraud or for anything the law says cannot be limited.

What if there is a mistake on worksandpiper.com?

WorkSandpiper fixes typing and technical mistakes on worksandpiper.com as soon as it becomes aware of them.

Your responsibility

You are responsible for loss that reasonably results, for example from applying with someone else's details without consent, except where WorkSandpiper caused it.

What if something outside WorkSandpiper's control happens?

Delays or failures caused by matters outside WorkSandpiper's reasonable control, including hosting or messaging service outages, are not WorkSandpiper's responsibility.

Eligibility

To apply through WorkSandpiper you should be an adult based in Australia with work rights. Individual employers can add requirements, which WorkSandpiper shows in the listing or HR explains on WhatsApp. Where an application plainly does not meet the stated requirements, WorkSandpiper may not forward it, and you can ask WorkSandpiper for the reason.

What is the WorkSandpiper training?

Where a role comes with online training, it is supplied by the employer or organised by WorkSandpiper and costs applicants nothing. The WorkSandpiper training shows how the work is done, but finishing it is not a promise of engagement, and the employer stays responsible for the work.

Can other websites link to worksandpiper.com?

Linking to the worksandpiper.com home page is fine, provided the link does not imply a relationship with or endorsement by WorkSandpiper. WorkSandpiper has no control over external sites linking in or linked out, and is not responsible for them. Please tell WorkSandpiper at careers@worksandpiper.com about any link that misdescribes WorkSandpiper or its roles so it can act on it.

Employers on the website

Employers who list roles through WorkSandpiper must describe them honestly, follow Australian workplace laws, give written terms before work begins and must not request money from applicants. WorkSandpiper may remove any listing or employer that breaks these expectations, and you can report concerns to careers@worksandpiper.com at any time.

What if part of the WorkSandpiper terms is invalid?

The rest still applies, and not enforcing a term straight away does not mean WorkSandpiper has waived it.

Is this the whole agreement with WorkSandpiper?

Yes, WorkSandpiper does. These terms, the Privacy Policy and the Compliance Statement form the full agreement about using worksandpiper.com.

How will WorkSandpiper contact me?

WorkSandpiper will send notices to the WhatsApp number or email you applied with. Send notices to WorkSandpiper at careers@worksandpiper.com.

Which law applies to WorkSandpiper?

These terms are governed by the law of Victoria, without affecting any mandatory protections you have.
