This policy covers worksandpiper.com, which is operated by WorkSandpiper in Benalla, Victoria. WorkSandpiper lists home-based part-time roles and passes applications to the businesses that offer them; the business, not WorkSandpiper, is the employer. You can write to WorkSandpiper at careers@worksandpiper.com. WorkSandpiper follows the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.
WorkSandpiper receives two kinds. One is what you type into the WorkSandpiper form: name, mobile, email, the role you picked and any optional note, with the required fields marked. Second, the WhatsApp message you send the WorkSandpiper HR team, which shows your WhatsApp display name, your number and whatever you wrote. If you email WorkSandpiper, we also receive your email address and message.
Yes, the usual details every site receives: IP address, browser and device, which page of worksandpiper.com you asked for, where you came from and when. The WorkSandpiper hosting provider keeps these to operate and protect worksandpiper.com, and WorkSandpiper does not link them to applications.
Required fields are needed so WorkSandpiper can reach you and forward your application. Leaving an optional field blank has no effect on how WorkSandpiper treats your application.
Do not share passwords, SMS verification codes, card or bank account numbers, tax file numbers or images of ID with WorkSandpiper. WorkSandpiper has no use for them, will not request them and removes them if they are sent anyway.
WorkSandpiper uses it to reply to you, send role details, pass your application to the employer for the role you picked, answer your email or WhatsApp questions, keep records, deal with complaints or misuse and meet legal duties.
WorkSandpiper does not sell, rent or trade personal information and does not use applications for marketing. Should another role seem a better fit, WorkSandpiper will ask your permission before your details go anywhere for it.
Only the people at WorkSandpiper who handle applications, plus the employer behind your chosen role. WorkSandpiper names the employer and explains what will be shared before any introduction is made.
worksandpiper.com is hosted and protected by Cloudflare, which also forwards emails addressed to WorkSandpiper. The typefaces on the WorkSandpiper site come from Google Fonts, so your browser fetches them from Google. Messages with WorkSandpiper HR travel through WhatsApp, a Meta service. Those companies act under their own privacy rules, not only under WorkSandpiper's. WorkSandpiper will list any new provider here, for example a form builder or ad tag, before switching it on.
WorkSandpiper shares it with authorities only if a law requires it, or permits it and it is reasonably necessary to investigate misuse or protect a person's rights.
After the form, you complete your application by sending WorkSandpiper HR one WhatsApp message. The button opens WhatsApp with a message already written and addressed to the WorkSandpiper HR number, which you will see at the top of the chat. Nothing is sent to WorkSandpiper automatically; you read the message and tap Send. If you cannot use WhatsApp, email careers@worksandpiper.com and WorkSandpiper will help another way.
worksandpiper.com does not use advertising or analytics cookies. WorkSandpiper's host may set one strictly necessary security cookie to keep automated abuse out. Blocking or deleting cookies will not stop the WorkSandpiper site from working.
Not at present at WorkSandpiper. As of the date above, worksandpiper.com has no advertising tags, remarketing or analytics installed. If that changes, WorkSandpiper will first update this section with the provider's name, what it receives and your choices. WorkSandpiper never places your name, phone number or email in tracking events or links.
It can, through WorkSandpiper's providers. The services WorkSandpiper relies on, namely Cloudflare, Google and WhatsApp, run in several countries, the United States among them. WorkSandpiper follows the Australian Privacy Principles for overseas disclosures; email careers@worksandpiper.com for details.
WorkSandpiper keeps application records for no more than twelve months after the last genuine contact about a role, then deletes them. Ask and WorkSandpiper will delete earlier; records are kept longer only if required by law or an open dispute. WorkSandpiper's hosting logs are normally cleared within 30 days.
worksandpiper.com uses HTTPS, and only the people handling applications can open them. No system is perfect, so if a breach is likely to cause you serious harm, WorkSandpiper will notify you under the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme.
Not always, even at WorkSandpiper. An employer or WhatsApp may keep its own copy, which WorkSandpiper does not control. WorkSandpiper will tell you who to contact.
Yes, WorkSandpiper does. Email careers@worksandpiper.com to access, correct or delete your details, withdraw your application or raise a concern. WorkSandpiper may check your identity, aims to reply within 30 days and will explain if something cannot be done. An introduction WorkSandpiper has already made stays made, even if you withdraw.
Send WorkSandpiper the new details and we will correct your record.
No, not at WorkSandpiper. A person at WorkSandpiper reads every application, and the employer decides who is hired.
WorkSandpiper roles are intended for adults. Information about a child that reaches WorkSandpiper will be deleted.

WorkSandpiper asks for your preferred role so the right details and training reach you and the application goes to the matching employer. Not sure yet? Mention it when you message WorkSandpiper HR and they will talk you through each role first. Until an introduction has happened, you can switch roles by sending a WhatsApp message or writing to careers@worksandpiper.com.
The chat with WorkSandpiper HR is stored so the team has context when you follow up. Only staff dealing with applications can read it, and WorkSandpiper will delete its copy on request. Your phone keeps its own copy of the chat with WorkSandpiper, and WhatsApp handles its records under its own policy. WorkSandpiper does not pass WhatsApp conversations to advertisers or data brokers.
Yes, WorkSandpiper does. You can stop your application with WorkSandpiper whenever you like by messaging HR or emailing careers@worksandpiper.com. WorkSandpiper will stop contacting you about roles, will not introduce you to any further employers and will delete your details in line with the retention section, unless the law requires WorkSandpiper to keep a record for longer.
WorkSandpiper relies on the details you give, so please check them before you submit. If HR notices something that looks wrong, such as a mistyped number, WorkSandpiper will ask you to confirm it on WhatsApp rather than guess. You can correct your details at any time by messaging HR or writing to careers@worksandpiper.com.
It may, and WorkSandpiper will say so. Updates are posted here with a new date, and if they affect information WorkSandpiper already holds, you will be told first where the law requires.
